Spirituality saved my entire being. Spirituality is the reason that I'm still alive and well. I've said this a billion times and I'll say it again, spirituality is a personal journey back to self. Anything that you're not in alignment with will crumble and fall, similar to the tower card in tarot (iykyk). A spiritual path is not for the faint of heart. It's not for those who want to take the easy way out because there's nothing easy about this path. This path requires hard work and dedication. It requires honesty and transparency. You have to be willing to let go of what you know and allow the truth to set in. This means losing friends, family, the false life you built, and even losing yourself, so you can find yourself again in the rubble that has been created. It's a beautiful process but it may not feel beautiful in the moment. Everything that I knew has been stripped away and I'm left with a version of myself that I'm getting to know slowly but surely. I love her and she loves me. Without spirituality, I don't think I would've made it to this point and for that, I'm so thankful. Thank you God. Thank you to the divine. Thank you to my benevolent ancestors and thank you to me because without my hard work, none of this would've ever been possible.
