The way life is set up can be funny at times and at other's, it's the furthest thing from comical. Life has dealt me with cards that many wouldn't want to face but for me, I feel like I have no choice but to at least try. What was the point of me being born if I wasn't planning on taking action towards my hopes and dreams? It's scary but a lot of things are scary and that has never stopped me in my tracks before, so why allow it to now? The things that once weighed me down are now the things that are now structured below me, forming a sturdy foundation and helping me to proceed forward without fail. I feel empowered. Well, let me correct myself — I am empowered. I am capable. I am already all the things that I need to be to succeed, but what does success even mean? For me, success means feeling proud of my legacy and the fact that I faced my fears. Success means being appreciative of my journey and the lessons that I learned along the way because they helped to mold and inspire me even during my darkest days. Success means happiness and love in it's various forms. Success means more than financial gain to me but I won't pretend that it's not a desire, as well. I desire to be financially stable and there is no shame in that, despite what people say about diviners and healers. I am proud of myself for carving out my own path and stepping away from what's "expected" or "acceptable" by society and instead towards what is truly destined for me. I have many plans and ventures in store for myself, many of which I will be keeping to myself. There's so much to look forward to but right now, I'm focused on what's happening here and now.
